Cookie policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026.

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies on Wheel Pick Names, operated by Laszlo Kovacs in Hungary. Cookies are small values stored by your browser; local storage saves data on your device without automatically sending it with each request. Both can be subject to privacy and device-storage rules.

Wheel storage and preferences

Our application does not set first-party HTTP cookies. It uses first-party local storage to remember the wheel you use and its settings, results, recent proofs and display or sound preferences. These data are used for the tool's features, not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

These values have no automatic expiry and remain until replaced, cleared by you or removed by your browser. Embedded wheels do not read or write these saved values. You can block local storage and still spin the wheel, but settings and results may not survive a reload. Saving feature settings is separate from consent to advertising.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. This service uses a performance beacon and does not use cookies or local storage or fingerprint visitors. Hosting and security services are separate: Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies if the relevant protection is enabled, for example cf_clearance after a challenge or __cf_bm for bot protection. Their presence and duration depend on the deployed security settings. See Cloudflare's cookie reference.

Advertising and consent storage

Google AdSense is planned but is not loaded by the current application. Once enabled, Google and the advertising partners listed in the consent platform may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies for ad delivery, frequency limits, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization. Non-personalized ads may also use storage. Cookie names, providers and lifetimes depend on the ad services enabled; see Google's cookie information and the consent platform's vendor disclosures. The consent platform may also store your privacy choices and ask you again when they expire or change.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, advertising storage that requires consent must remain blocked until you choose to allow it. Rejecting optional purposes must leave the wheel usable. Other countries' consent and opt-out requirements also apply where relevant; merely continuing to browse is not consent.

Privacy settings

Advertising consent controls are not active yet because the application does not load ads. Before ads are enabled, a consent platform must provide controls to accept, reject or manage optional purposes and revisit a previous choice. This page will be updated with those controls when they are available.

US residents may have the right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, including through “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” controls and Global Privacy Control where applicable. These controls must be connected before the relevant advertising processing begins.

You can delete cookies and local storage or block future storage in your browser settings. Clearing all site data also removes saved wheels and may remove consent choices, so you may be asked again. You can manage Google's personalized ads at My Ad Center; that choice does not replace the site's own consent controls.
