Wheel templates
Every template here is a ready-made wheel with a useful list already filled in. Open one, change the list to match your situation, pick your colours, spin, and share the result. It takes seconds, and everything you change stays in your browser.
A template saves you the first minute of typing and shows what a good wheel looks like. The yes or no wheel has two slices. The country wheel has twenty-four. The chore wheel uses short action phrases that fit on a slice. Start from the one that is closest to what you need, then make it yours.
How to use a template
- Choose a wheel below and open its page. It starts with the ready-made list.
- Edit the list in the Names tab. Add your own entries, delete the ones you do not need, and write an entry twice to make it twice as likely.
- Pick a colour palette or your own colours in the Style tab, then press SPIN. Use the Share tab to send your version to someone else.
New to the tool? The guide to using the spin wheel explains every button. To show a wheel on your own page or in a stream, read about embedding the wheel.
Decide
Wheels for the small choices that eat up time: what to eat, what to watch, where to go, or simply yes or no. Spin once and move on.
Games
Wheels that run a game for you: turn order, letters, numbers and party rounds. They keep play fair and keep arguments short.
Learn and teams
Wheels for classrooms, meetings and trivia: a country to explore, or a question to start a conversation.
Home and life
Wheels for everyday routines: sharing out chores fairly or picking the next exercise, so nobody has to be the one who decides.
Choosing the right wheel
- Short lists decide faster. A wheel with five to ten options is easy to read and quick to settle. For long lists, the wheel zooms in near the end so you can still read the names.
- Keep entries short. Two to four words fit on a slice. Long sentences work better in slot mode, which shows one name at a time.
- Agree on the rule first. Decide in advance whether the first spin counts. It keeps games friendly and giveaways fair.
- Want a check? Every spin can be checked afterwards. See what a result check proves.
About templates
What is a wheel template?
A template is a normal wheel that already has a useful list and colours. You can change everything in it: add, remove or rename entries, pick other colours, and spin as often as you like.
Are my changes to a template saved?
Yes, on your own device. Each template keeps its own saved copy, separate from the main wheel, and the Reset button brings back the original list. Nothing is uploaded.
Can I share or embed a template after editing it?
Yes. Use the Share tab to make a link with your edited list, or open the embed builder to put the wheel on your own page or into a stream.
Can I suggest a new template?
Use the contact page to tell us what you would like to see. Every template needs a useful starting list and its own explanation, so we add them one at a time.
