About the Icebreaker Questions Wheel

The first minutes of a meeting or a new class are the quietest. An icebreaker wheel gives everyone a light, low-stakes way to speak. Each spin lands on a short prompt such as Dream trip or Hidden talent, and the person who gets it answers in a sentence or two.

Keep the prompts short so they stay readable on the slices, and write ones that anyone can answer without sharing anything private. Switch on Remove winner so each question is used once in a session. Facilitators can keep a different wheel for each group and pass the link around for the next meeting.

Icebreaker Questions Wheel: questions and answers

Can I write my own icebreaker questions?

Yes. Replace the prompts in the Names tab. Short phrases of two to five words read best on the wheel.

What makes a good icebreaker?

Questions that are fun and easy to answer without sharing anything private, such as favourite foods, small habits or imaginary trips.

How do I avoid repeating a question?

Turn on Remove winner before the next spin. Each prompt is used once, then leaves the wheel.

Can I use the same wheel in an online call?

Yes. Share your screen, or send the link so everyone can open the same wheel and follow along.
