About the Workout Wheel
Routine is the enemy of motivation. A workout wheel adds variety to a home session by picking the next exercise for you. It starts with eight bodyweight moves, from squats to mountain climbers, so you can start with no equipment and no planning.
Make a circuit by spinning, doing that move for a minute, then spinning again. Remove winner keeps you from repeating a move until you have been through the list. Replace the exercises with ones that suit your level, and check with a qualified professional if you are unsure what is safe for you.
Ways to use it
- Build a random circuit for a short home session
- Let a training group take turns choosing the next move
- Add stretches and mobility work so the wheel covers a full routine
- Create a lunchtime challenge for colleagues
Workout Wheel: questions and answers
Can I change the exercises?
Yes. Edit the list in the Names tab. Use moves that suit your fitness level and any limits you have.
How do I do every exercise once?
Tick Remove winner before the next spin. Each exercise leaves the wheel after it comes up, and the circuit ends when the list is empty.
How long should I do each move?
That is up to you. Thirty to sixty seconds per move is a common choice, with a short rest between spins.
Is this medical or training advice?
No. The wheel only picks from your list. If you are unsure about an exercise, ask a qualified professional first.
