Scrolling through streaming catalogues can take longer than the film itself. Narrowing the choice first makes it easier. This wheel picks a genre, so you only browse one category instead of everything. It starts with ten genres, from comedy and action to documentary and fantasy.

For a group, the genre is a much easier thing to agree on than a title. Spin once, then let each person suggest one film in that genre and spin again with those titles to decide. You can also remove genres nobody enjoys, or repeat a favourite to make it come up more often.
